Discover Cannock Park like never before with three new interactive Heritage Trails

Visitors to Cannock Park can now explore the park’s rich history, natural environment and community stories through three brand-new interactive QR code trails.

Developed as part of the Cannock Chase Can programme, the trails offer a fun and engaging way for people of all ages to discover more about one of the district’s most cherished green spaces.

Three trails to explore

Across Cannock Park and the Golf Course, visitors will find new interpretation panels featuring QR codes that unlock digital content through the Cannock Chase Can app.

Each trail contains 10 QR codes to collect, allowing participants to complete interactive challenges while uncovering fascinating information along the way.

The Tree Trail helps visitors learn more about some of the park’s most interesting trees, their importance to the local environment and the role they play in creating a vibrant green space for wildlife and people alike.

🎧 Hear Our Heritage

Step back in time and uncover stories from Cannock Park’s past.

The Hear Our Heritage Trail features a series of short audio recordings that bring local history to life. As you follow the trail, you’ll hear fascinating stories and memories connected to the park and the people who have enjoyed it over the years.

🎬 Cannock Park Tales Trail

Experience Cannock Park through creativity and storytelling.

The Cannock Park Tales Trail features a collection of specially created animations and poetry inspired by the park’s heritage. The content has been developed by local artists Jennie Moore and Pep the Poet, with valuable contributions from students at local schools, helping to capture the unique character and stories of Cannock Park.
